This is a cross processed image of Horse Chestnuts, or what we would call Conkers! This is No. 4 of a series of 4, each image depicts more life forms (Conkers) than the previous image. My idea was to give the series of image an almost sci fi feel, as is this was some kind of bacteria or alien life form growing at an exponential rate.....

As a freelance commercial photographer I have over 20 years of experience in design and advertising photography. However these images are primarily from personal projects and testing, always trying to push myself and learn new techniques. Every day is a school day. I initially came from a fine art background so I try to bring elements of this to each new project.
